Green Leek & San-J Wakame Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 4 packages San-J Wakame Soup
  • 1 cup leeks, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
  • 6 ounces button mushrooms, sliced in half
  • ½ cup celery, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup frozen baby peas
  • 3 Tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 Tablespoons San-J Gluten Free Tamari

Cooking Instructions

Servings: 4

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, bring the water to a boil. Add the packages of the San-J Wakame Soup to the boiling water. Stir to dissolve and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the leeks, carrots, mushrooms and the celery. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the baby peas, the sherry and the San-J Gluten Free Tamari. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes and serve immediately.
