Citrus Slaw:
- 2 cups shredded cabbage green or purple
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoon San-J Citrus Tamari Splash
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- Kosher or fine sea salt to taste
Tacos:
- 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons San-J Citrus Tamari Splash
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 6 small corn tortillas gluten-free
- Sliced avocado sour cream, and pickled jalapenos, for serving
Directions
- In a medium mixing bowl, mix cabbage, carrots, San-J Citrus Tamari Splash, lime juice, avocado oil, and cilantro. Toss well. Add salt and pepper if needed.
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with San-J Sweet Tamari Splash, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Let marinate for 5 minutes.
- Heat avocado oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
- Warm tortillas and assemble tacos by layering slaw and shrimp.
- Serve with avocado, sour cream, and pickled jalapenos if desired.
