5-Minute Rice Bowl with Scallions, Eggs & Umami Tamari Splash

  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 2 tbsp San-J Umami Tamari Splash, plus more for serving
  • Chili oil, to serve (optional)


  • Heat the oil in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, crack in the eggs and let cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add the scallions on top and continue cooking until they begin to wilt.
  • Drizzle the San-J Umami Tamari Splash over the eggs and cook until desired doneness.
  • Remove from heat, then serve the eggs and scallion mixture in a bowl over hot cooked rice.
  • Serve as is, with an extra drizzle of Umami Tamari Splash, or with a scoop of chili oil for extra heat.
