Spicy Garlic Edamame Sautéed in Umami Tamari Splash

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1-2 Thai chilis, chopped
  • 12 oz frozen edamame, microwaved according to package directions
  • 2 tbsp San-J Umami Tamari Splash, plus more for serving
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crispy garlic (optional)


  • In a saucepan on medium heat, add sesame oil.
  • Once the pan is nice and hot, add garlic and Thai chili. Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add edamame, mix well then add San-J Umami Tamari Splash. Sauté for 2 -3 minutes.
  • Serve with crispy garlic and more San-J Umami Tamari Splash on the side.
