- 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak
- â…“ cup, plus 1 tablespoon San-J Tamari Lite 50% Less Sodium, divided
- 3 tablespoons hot honey
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons avocado or vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
- ½ cup Japanese mayo
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
Directions
- Cut steak into even-sized 1-inch pieces. Place in a large mixing bowl. Add â…“ cup San-J Tamari Lite, hot honey, garlic, and sesame oil. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or up to 4 hours.
- Make the dipping sauce: Combine Japanese mayo with 1 tablespoon San-J Tamari Lite and sriracha.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it sizzles. Add the steak, in batches (do not over-crowd the pan) and cook, undisturbed, for 1 minute. Flip, and cook another minute. Stir and cook until the preferred doneness on the steak, about 1 – 3 minutes. Remove and continue with the rest of the steak bites.
- Garnish the steak bites with chives and sesame seeds and serve with dipping sauce. Enjoy!
