Sheet Pan Honey Garlic Chicken with Vegetables

  • 1 butternut squash cubed
  • 1 red onion quartered
  • 4-5 carrots
  • 4 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 orange halved
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon San-J Organic Tamari 25% Less Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced


  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • On a large sheet, add the butternut squash, onions, rosemary, and carrots.
  • Season vegetables with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil. Toss together. Place chicken pieces between the vegetables.
  • Thinly slice half of the orange while juicing the other half into a small bowl. Into the orange juice add the honey, San-J Organic Tamari 25% Less Sodium Soy Sauce, and garlic. Whisk together, then spoon over the chicken before baking for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and baste the chicken with the juices from the pan.
  • Place the orange slices around the pan and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked, and the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve up and enjoy!
