Green Leek & San-J Wakame Soup

Main Ingredient



Quick & Easy


  • 6 cups water
  • 4 packages San-J Wakame Soup
  • 1 cup leeks thinly sliced
  • 2 medium carrots thinly sliced
  • 6 ounces button mushrooms sliced in half
  • ½ cup celery thinly sliced
  • ½ cup frozen baby peas
  • 3 Tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 Tablespoons San-J Tamari Soy Sauce


  • In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the packages of the San-J Wakame Soup to the boiling water.
  • Stir to dissolve and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the leeks, carrots, mushrooms and the celery.
  • Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the baby peas, the sherry and the San-J Tamari Soy Sauce.
  • Simmer for an additional 5 minutes and serve immediately.
